Splrblog, the technology you are currently interacting with is a blog system with an innovative user experience - the whole site fits elegantly on this one web page with every post or comment a click away. Rather than being a typical page oriented site it is application oriented (kind of like iTunes). On this page (the homepage), one can:

1) Filter all posts by:

• Categories or tags associated with the post.
• Distinguish whether a post is a post from the blog owner or a comment from anyone, and/or
• Free text search.

2) View and select from the sortable list of posts and

3) View the adjacent post, previous comments and add a comment if desired.

splrb features include:

• All posts and comments are indexed and searchable in real time.
• All posts and comments are available (syndicated) hourly as an RSS feed. Additionally any post or comment can be easily posted to or shared with all major services including FaceBook and Twitter.
• We provide a built-in HTML editor (FCKeditor) that enables you to add/edit posts from any browser anywhere including uploading and linking to images/audio/video. In fact, accessing all aspects of the site requires nothing more than a reasonably modern browser.
• Our interface for viewing and commenting on your blog can be integrated with other information sources (feeds, documents, transaction systems).
• We use Adobe Coldfusion as our platform – we like it. It is a very robust and mature web platform that enables quick and relatively bug free development. It also integrates nicely with most existing technologies.
• We provide a simple tabbed and secure Administration page that enables you to easily add/edit categories or tags, edit/delete comments and view site statistics.
• We work for you - we make all of your data available to you in open, standard formats and will never do anything with your data that you don’t expressly tell us to.
